Canton, MA— Thursday, May 22, 2025 — At the 15th Annual Patriot Week Gala, held just ahead of Memorial Day weekend, Steven P. Kelly, CEO of Timberline Construction Corporation and Timberline Communications Inc., received the Sergeant First Class Eric Emond “Wicked Awesome” Award in recognition of his long-standing commitment to Veterans and Gold Star Families. Presented by Massachusetts Fallen Heroes (MFH), the award honors individuals whose longstanding contributions reflect the values of the late SFC Eric Emond—a decorated 21-year military veteran, servant leader and co-founder of MFH.

Our TCC & TCI Teams celebrating the honor on May 22, 2025.

Kelly has been a steadfast supporter of MFH since its inception in 2010. In addition to providing Timberline’s Canton headquarters to help launch the original Sample Sale fundraiser, now a key event for the organization and its fundraising, he also played a central role in the creation of the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial in Boston’s Seaport. His impact has been both personal and professional, with close family ties to two MFH co-founders.

“From day one, Steve Kelly has been more than a supporter—he’s been a pillar of strength for Massachusetts Fallen Heroes and InnoVets. His belief in our mission and his unwavering commitment have shaped our journey and fueled our growth. Honoring him with the Eric Emond ‘Wicked Awesome’ Award is not just a thank-you—it’s a tribute to a legacy of loyalty, leadership, and heart.”
— Dan Magoon, Executive Director, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes | Combat Veteran, U.S. Army
