Maine Fast Charging Infrastructure Installation
To support the growing demand for electric vehicle charging, TCI partnered with Revision Energy to deploy high-capacity EV charging infrastructure in Windham, Maine. The project included the installation of two ChargePoint Fast Chargers rated at 250kW each and one ChargePoint CT4000 charging station. Supporting this equipment required the deployment of substantial electrical infrastructure, including a dedicated 500 kVA utility transformer and a 480V, 400A main electrical service capable of delivering the power necessary for high-speed EV charging operations.
As part of the electrical scope, TCI installed underground conduit infrastructure consisting of 3-inch and 6-inch raceways to support power distribution and system connectivity throughout the site. The project also included the installation of a Cat 6 communications connection to the Internet Service Provider (ISP), enabling network communication, charger monitoring, user authentication, and operational reporting for the charging systems.
Through close collaboration with Revision Energy, TCI successfully completed the electrical and communications infrastructure required to support the new charging station. The completed installation provides reliable, high-capacity EV charging while establishing a scalable foundation for future transportation electrification initiatives.
