BOSTON PARK PLAZA
Boston, MA

The TCI DAS Team was engaged to provide installation services for the neutral host DAS at the Park Plaza Boston Hotel. The owner required use of union labor and the carrier selected Corning equipment for the project. TCI has well established union relationships and partners and is a certified Corning installer. The system provided much needed cell coverage throughout the 17 story building.  The coverage serves not only hotel guests but also select retail venues as well as support staff in back of house areas throughout. A total of 26 remotes and 304 nodes were installed through the building. TCI also fit-up and installed the DAS headend located on the 17th floor. In addition to the headend equipment, the room featured fresh air exhaust, two, 5-ton AC units and an FM200 Halon Fire suppression system.
