VTel – Air Antenna Upgrades

STATEWIDE ANTENNA UPGRADES AND EMERGENCY BROADBAND DEPLOYMENT

Since 2017, TCI has been a trusted partner to VTel, delivering a wide range of telecommunication infrastructure upgrades across Vermont. As part of the VTel AIR Antenna Upgrades project, TCI performed work at eight sites statewide, providing a comprehensive scope that included new tower construction, antenna and structural maintenance, electrical installation and service, and battery system installation and upkeep.

Beyond planned upgrades, TCI also played a vital role in a State of Vermont COVID-19 emergency initiative to expand broadband access in priority areas for remote learning. Under this program, our team managed the rapid deployment of B41/BRS equipment, working in close coordination with VTel to ensure efficient execution. From site planning to final installation, TCI successfully delivered this time-sensitive project, strengthening statewide connectivity when it was needed most.
