WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION AT NEW BASEBALL STADIUM

As part of the construction of Worcester’s Polar Park, Timberline Communications was engaged to set up essential equipment hubs, power systems and antennas to ensure reliable wireless coverage throughout the park’s administrative areas, suites, and stadium seating.

The project involved building a 15-by-20-foot headend build and intermediate headends that house DC inverters and remotes. The team installed omnidirectional antennas to cover the administrative and suite areas of the park and large panel antennas to provide coverage to stadium seating.

Despite the project being under construction during the height of the initial COVID-19 outbreak, the team was able to navigate challenges and restrictions to deliver the project on time.
